Innovation is the key to companies’ value creation!
While the debate rages concerning purchasing power in our country, and while distributors and producers are blaming each other for the rise in prices, particularly for food products, it seems to me that it is more necessary than ever to repeat a basic truth at the foundation of our determination to develop the Agrimip Sud-Ouest Innovation competitiveness cluster: innovation is the only way to maintain our margins, since a product which does not evolve, becomes common and margins dissolved.
Likewise, by making it possible to meet new needs, innovation contributes to revitalizing markets. Consequently, innovation is more than ever the key to creating value for companies and thus leading to job creation and improved purchasing power !
This conviction provides the basis for all of Agrimip Sud-Ouest Innovation’s players and partners to contribute to stimulating the agricultural and agribusiness sector in the region, by encouraging the emergence of innovative projects, by enabling business leaders to complete these projects in order to help their companies win. This is the shared ambition of our competitiveness cluster.
In the several months following approval of the cluster we have set to work. Numerous projects have already been completed, or are in the process of being defined; a network of partners in all of the Departments is being set up to create a vital force centering on innovation, and communication tools, including this newsletter which you will receive on a regular basis while our website is being set up for the summer. Agrimip Sud-Ouest Innovation represents a tool to serve regional companies. We’re working with the managers of the competitiveness cluster to optimize its efficiency
