At the national level : Synergy among competitiveness clusters in the area of plant sciences
On the national level, AgriMip Innovation is an active member of the network of competitiveness clusters focusing on plant sciences.
Its integrative capacity is based on unique generic know-how (agrichains), as well as on its leading skills areas.

Identifying the specificities of each cluster
The Auvergne cluster, Céréales Vallée, is carrying out noteworthy research on the interface between genomics and cereal selection. Its seed breeding partners, as well as those of AgriMip Innovation have leveraged each cluster’s specificities. Biogemma, for example, has coordinated its resources with a laboratory in Auvergne and one in Midi-Pyrenees, specialized in oil-protein crops and sunflowers. Consequently, the two laboratories can benefit from basic research contributions, while sharing tools.
Academic and industrial partners in common
In the field of non-food agricultural products, AgriMip Innovation's sphere of influence centers on the high visibility of its research complex. In Aquitaine, the Industries et Pin Maritime du Futur Cluster (Maritime pine development) has a number of academic and industrial partners in common with AgriMip Innovation. Thanks to these synergies, a project to establish a forest resources valorization facility in Midi-Pyrenees may come to fruition.
Collaboration between regions
The international-level cluster of Industries et Agro-ressources in the Champagne-Ardenne-Picardie regions is a pivotal player in this field, and has collaborated with Midi-Pyrenees research laboratories for many years. Consequently, the Industries et Agro-ressources players and those of AgriMip Innovation know each other quite well and all work to favor collaborative efforts.
