At the European level, AgriMip Sud-Ouest Innovation belongs to the entity formed by the Pyrenees-Mediterranean Euroregion, which includes Aragon, the Balearic Islands, Catalonia, Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi-Pyrenees. This region, in the southwestern part of the European community, is involved in a cross-border development project, involving a vibrant economic concentration of over 15 million residents.
A space for research and technical innovation in southern Europe
The Eurobioregion group, piloted by Catalonia, forms a cluster aimed at developing cooperative endeavors to implement R&D programs for the creation of new, highly competitive products and services in the fields of biomedicine and biotechnologies. The agricultural and food sectors are also taken into account. AgriMip Sud-Ouest Innovation's skills logically fit into this organization.

As a leading link in the Eurobioregional structure for the agricultural-food sector, the AgriMip Sud-Ouest Innovation competitiveness cluster has received backing from the Catalonia and Aragon regions.
